I've had MySqL installed so I'll be porting the dragonportal to that in the next version. I have started to do it already locally so won't be long ;o) lots of new features will be added that I ain't been able to do with flatfile like site search, better tracking and so on, all in a nice neat db :o) yay !.. I'll release both flatfile and SqL versions of the portal but as stated above the latter will have better features. I like the idea of XML but I think I will be sticking to XHTML for the time being...
