If you run XP and connect to the web I suggest you install this right away, as in right now. Without going in to huge amounts of geeky shit this patch fixes the single most dangerous exploit I have ever seen in the Winblows OS. A person with little skill can write a simple webpage or email that can exploit your machine and assume control of it. No AV or IDS can detect this, honestly it is quite scary. I'm glad I run *nix and Win98 at home. MS themselves have conceded that this is very serious and have even broken the monthly patch cycle to issue this patch. Download it, patch it and soon.

Joy of Joy though, I actually own a legit bit of software from them now.
