I bet you look good on the dancefloor!

Been a rather hectic week. Off to an all-nighter tonight so I plan to stomp the night away on a sweaty techno riddled dancefloor and I can't wait actually. These parties have been happening for quite a few years now and they're pretty low key although the organisers do run a night with a pretty famous techno outfit in Manchester and also have something to do with another night that's on in Bradford. I've yet to go to one of the Bradford do's but I'm sure they are just as banging as our parties; just constricted with a closing time. I'm sure I'll be suffering on Tuesday.
The server seems to have chilled out now and things appear to be working as they should, so can someone comment so I know they are and it's not just me dreaming!
New Firefox
I installed the new Firefox yesterday and although it seems a little less resource hungry than the last version it has got a really buggy address bar which is pretty frustrating. Also I wasn't happy to be instantly directed to some google homepage either. I realise that google has to some degree supported the Firefix brand but still... People who know me know I'm not a google-ite. I respect them but I just don't like/agree with the direction they are heading... I prefer doogle.
Stuff
I came across this the other day and I must say I actually quite like it. Pretty neat!
...and this is old but still a classic flash game. (BTW news for Flash developers, if you use embedded fonts in your flash the file size will now have increased if you use Flash 8 to output. This is because they have increased the quality but it has added about 17k to every .swf file. If I were you I'd output in version 7 if you're a file size purist!)
Let's not forget past statements made by Bush. The US administration doesn't want people to focus on the past but on the future of Iraq, I wonder why?
Some really cool high-speed photography of water.
How to be cam whore in five easy steps from Maddox. Old but amusing. Myspace muppets could learn a thing.
Even as a child watching The A-Team I had to wonder why people didn't die. I mean with over 1000 rounds of pure lead being pumped out from those modded AK's you'd think that someone would have at least been hit, limbs being blown of bodies in clouds of claret but nah. Also the sounds effect and the magic sparks as bullets hit cars (and bounced off) and walls. Well here is a site dedicated to challenging the laws of "Movie Physics". Geeky, sad, a pure waste of time but amusing none the less.
Bunch of images in an open directory (I've no idea whats there so AT YOUR OWN RISK).
MySpace* has reared it's really ugly head recently as a place for the, well, the socially rejected youth to hang out and "network". I had a good look around it last month and concluded it was just a gathering of EMO CAM FREAKS all in one place, finally, FINALLY they found a place for them. Blogger just isn't cool enough is it? Well demonbaby decided to do a "MySpace Stupid Haircut Award" sometime in April last year, see demon baby must be ahead of the game. I like the alter-ego, yes EGO not EMO, match ups. The thing about Myspace is us older people were doing just the same thing a LONG TIME AGO, it was called a FORUM BOARD, let's face it thats all that Myspack IS a LARGE FORUM. I'd much rather pluck my eyes out.
*There are some cool people on there. My belief that they are agents sent in to infiltrate and subvert.
